Step aboard The Airstream Project! Pure Cruise's totally unique, hand-built vessel on Lake Rotoiti, and prepare for an experience unlike anything else in New Zealand.

Designed by Matt and the team, this stunning 9.2-metre pontoon draws inspiration from classic 1960s Airstream trailers, WWII aircraft, and Italian speed boats. Polished aluminium panels, thousands of solid rivets, curved acrylic windows that slide up into the roof, and exposed internal frames give the boat a sleek, stripped-back aesthetic, equal parts floating work of art and lake adventurer.

But The Airstream Project isn't just beautiful to look at, it's been designed to get you closer to the lake. The sides of the vessel fold out, allowing the lounges to pivot over the water, bringing you right to the edge of native bush, hidden caves, and geothermal streams.

Exclusive charters for up to 18 guests take you deep into the stunning bays and coves of Lake Rotoiti. Soak in geothermal hot pools, swim from warm sand beaches, paddle into glowing worm caves, or leap from overhanging pōhutukawa trees into the crystal-clear lake. Every experience is tailored to your group and delivered with genuine, friendly, local hospitality.

This is not a tour. This is your lake experience, your way.
