Matt and the team have designed and hand built a totally unique 9.2-meter pontoon vessel with electric drive - the shape, form and finish draws it’s inspiration from classic 1960’s Airstream trailers, second world war aircraft and Italian speed boats!
The exterior is polished aluminum hand crafted panels, with a few thousand solid rivets joining the framing and panels. The side windows are curved acrylic and slide up into the roof while the internal frames are left exposed giving a stripped back aircraft look and feel inside.
The sides fold out and allow the couches to pivot out over the water so our guests can get so much closer to the native bush, caves and thermal waters of the lake.

Rotoiti Explorer is a 40 foot 2 level catamaran which is the perfect floating venue for exclusive family, social club and group lake experiences catering for up to 40 guests. There is a slide from the upper deck straight into the fresh lake, a BBQ on board as well as toilet. Rotoiti Explorer is a fun, all weather way to explore the remote corners of this beautiful lake
